The Day of Love! First off, I love you, Honey! My first and only Valentine! You have been the love of my life for so long and I want to thank you for being such an amazing friend and Love to me all these years - you're the best! and now we have a whole new love in our life, and I couldn't imagine sharing this happiness with anyone but you! You're an incredible Dad and such a great Husband - I love you, sweetie! And...my Max, the one I am head over heels crazy in love with, my Baby Boy! You're my new little Valentine and I couldn't possibly love anything more!

Yes, I love to put hats on Max, I know. and yes, the green hat is too small and makes him look like Pharoah. The baseball hat makes him look like he's 5! I think he's starting to object to the hats in the bottom picture.

what we've been up to

I know, I know -it's been a couple weeks...sorry! Good news is, Max is feeling SO much better, and so am I! Amazing how he defines my state of being! The never-ending sickies finally went away and now it's just the teething, totally do-able. He's back to my happy giggle box that sleeps through the night! yahoooo! 4 months old, and changing daily! So, here's his latest developments: smiling constantly, just like Daddy, loves bathtime with Grandpa, reading, and making funny Asian faces!

Johnny Jump Up!

Action Baby! Okay, you know you have a thrill seeker on your hand when he started to love being tossed up in the air at 3 months old, before he could even steady his neck! That's his favorite thing right now. Today we put him in the johnny jump up and he loved it! I love when he belly laughs and smiles with his whole body! these days, Max is either really happy and his normal self, or crying bloody murder from teething. It's so sad! He's been fighting a cold, the stomach flu and eczema for about a month now and it's exhausting. He's still his good natured self, but when he's hurting he screams and it breaks my heart. So anyways, that's life for me right now. But God is giving me peace in the midst of tiredness!

our walks

I've been taking Max and the dogs on a walk every day and we all love it! There's a road through some orchards behind my house and it's about a mile and it's the perfect time for me to talk to God and for us all to get some fresh air. BJ's getting so big! and so is my 17 pounder 4 month old! sheesh! It's a good way for me to lose all that baby weight!

Okay, catching up! Here's a collage of pictures from the holidays! We had a Wonderful Christmas with our beloved families! Our best yet! It meant so much more with our precious little gift, Max; and it was so wonderful to be a family! I'm so thankful to God for all of the blessings He's poured out on us and the amazing friends and family that He's surrounded us with. It's been hectic and busy, but it's all about Him and I'm so grateful for His Gift to us.
