These were taking about 5 months ago! Yes, can you say Baby Gap? I can't believe he's gonna be one next month! Max is a bundle of personality right now, constantly busy, crawling, climbing, standing, and making hilarious faces and making me laugh all the time! It's such a fun stage!

This was supposed to be our last week in the Bay Area, but alas it's not. We're scheduled to be down there til the end of the month, so we'll see. I don't mind - I love the family time we have all to ourselves! but I do miss everyone! I haven't posted pictures in a while cause I've been gone, soon and very soon...

So, we've waited for 3 years to put sprinklers in and landscape our tiny acre and 1/2 ;) and now we're going for it! It's been a work in process and we're still in process, but after planting grass seed and about 200 plus flowers, we're definitely on our way! It's looking so good - I 'll post more after pictures soon! James' Mom and Grandma have been amazing in helping and lending us their incredible knowlege, too! The porch and railing are painting, new trim is up and James finished the front porch/steps and put lattice up around the whole house! phew! we're whooped! oh, and yes, Max was on the front porch supporting us in it all!
We had such a great time in my little paradise! Tahoe is so significant to me...having spent every summer of my life with my family there, and then to be able to be there with my baby and my mom who's been there every summer of her life...very significant. Max loved the beach and all the attention from the Aunties! Eating sand was exciting for him and we just had fun laughing at him non-stop. It was a great get-away!

Danielle and I were doing some test shots for the wedding that she shot yesterday, and I just wanted to take this moment to say how amazing she is! As a person and a talented photographer - she blows me away! and I was amazed that I could squeeze into my wedding dress! Squeeze being the key word! We had fun!
We had a Great 4th! Brunch at my folks, swimming, Max's 1st Fudgsicle!, Games and Max's 1st Fireworks at the other Grandparents! Hot day, but fun! ...yes, we're all wearing matching shirts!
We LOVE Tahoe! We had a great, quick trip up there, escaped the heat and were able to enjoy a full night's sleep w/o our munchkin and celebrate our 4th year of wedded bliss. This year was different than others, and has definitely been the hardest; but we're so much closer than before and our love is deeper for the trials. I love that. Oh, I'm going back to Tahoe today! yahoooo! I'll blog later!
