Memorial Day Weekend!

What a busy fun weekend, we had! Complete with our Hick Party, church, Rodeo, swimming and BBQ! Good times! Yes, the cowboy theme continues (James isn't dressing up at all!) with the Bryans at the Marysville Stampede!It was great to see them before Dave jetted off to India for a few weeks!

and Grandpa Alex makes the best steaks! We had a feast that night! Max even got dessert!

And we had to say goodbye to James as he jetted off to Livermore on his motorcyle - my little studmuffins!

Now, Max and I are headed off to Maple Valley,Washington to see my old friends and visit everyone! I'm so excited! I'll post pictures of that trip next week! Have a great rest of the week everybody!

arrggh..pirate booty! Max was scootin' around in his walker and I turned around and he had snagged the bag of Pirate's Booty and had the funniest look on his face! He is So mobile right now - and always keeps me on my toes, and fills me with more joy than I ever thought imaginable!

Tired Turtle

I'm not kidding when I say Max falls asleep every time we put him in the pool - it's hilarious! He's crawling now! in a non-conventional way - but he gets around I'll tell ya!

Oh, I love this Girl!!! Who doesn't?!?! To know her is to love her! Danielle, I'm SO thankful that your such an important part of my life - such a great friend, cousin, confidant,sister, auntie to Max, etc....you're the BEST!!! Pool Time

Down in Livermore Max and I went to the pool everyday and he Loved it! He fell asleep while we were in the water every time - it totally calms him. He was just jabberin' away in his little crab floatee - so fun!

Max is now pulling himself up and walking around the edges of his playpen -he's getting VERY mobile! and when he does this, he smooshes his face against the side of his playpen and makes the funniest faces - he was cracking us up for days doing this! He's our t.v.!!!

Arrrgh, Pirate's Booty!

Max was in his walker and I turned around and he had grabbed the Pirate's Booty (snack) and had the funniest look on his face! He is seriously mobile these days!

A Duckie and a Kitty

Max with our Pepe LePew! This cat is SO tolerant of him! Fistfuls of fur! He just lets Max tug on him! Max is finally feeling better - thanks for all your sweet words! He's just about to cut his first tooth, though - there's always something! We just got home from Livermore (where we're stationed now) and we're home for the weekend. It's good to be home!

I'm leaving on a jet plane...wait, no I'm not

So, I was packed and on my way to get on a plane to visit all my loved ones in Maple Valley, WA -when my little munchkin got so sick and was so miserable that I wanted the doctor to look at him to make sure he was okay to fly and, sure enough - he wasn't okay. He has an ear infection and sinus infection which would've risked rupturing his eardrum if he flew....so, obviously I couldn't risk my child going deaf just to visit my buddies! So, we're home - but will go to Washington in a couple weeks. Max is feeling a little better - I'm tired,though...sick baby - tired mama. This is a picture of him exhausted with his little chapped nose...my little sicky.

Birthday Fun!

I had such a great birthday - and was Totally Spoiled!
Breakfast with my parents and my hot date, Max, Lunch with Danielle - Sopa Thai, yum! We took over the restaraunt! and Dinner with friends and family, and my Hubby drove up from the Bay Area in time to bless me tons!and shopping!I'm so grateful!

I have the most wonderful and thoughtful Friends!!!! Thank you everyone who remembered my birthday and made it a very special day! All the blog birthday posts were so fun - especially Allisons! She has a picture of both of us as babies together! Amazing! Anyways, every phone call, e-mail, blog and hug was SO appreciated and y'all blessed my socks clear off! Thank you for your love and support during the trying time of my life, too - you have been such strength to me...the wind beneath my wings, okay..I'll stop. Thank you a million - I am Blessed!

So, last week was probably the most intense week of my life. I've done a lot of soul-searching,God-searching, and life-searching...and, I conclude that...God is good. He will never leave of forsake me, He is my ever-present help in time of need, and I'm His Beloved. Amazing. I'm humbled at His love and care for me - in my weakest state, He is so near - aren't you amazed at His tireless love for us? So Awesome.
