finally!

man, am i glad this weekend's over! Last week was busy and crazy and this weekend was much worse! I did makeup for a wedding, went to the wedding, then went to another wedding and then to church! one day! anyways, on top of all the busyness,it's been a rough couple of days personally, so please pray for me - for strength and grace.I know it's at the hardest times that God is the closest, and it's very true for me right now, and I'm so thankful for His presence. His mercies are new every morning - thank goodness for that.

Maybe that's why he got sick, eating all this junk food!

What?!? Sick, again?

I know it seems like every other month I'm saying that Max is sick - it seems to just take him a long time to get over it whenever he does get sick! Anyways, he has a nasty cough/cold virus and I had to get him on a breathing machine to open up his bronchial passage. no fun, but he's being very sweet even though he feels horrible. and today, the Dr. found he developed an ear infection - so more fun to be had! My poor baby! Anyhoo, that's life right now - I'm just so grateful that I get to be home and take care of him.

Easter Sunday!

What a full and memorable Easter Sunday we had! First we went to church and had a wonderful time of worship and reflecting on the resurrection of our Savior - it was awesome! Here we are, in our Easter duds!

and then, after having a great lunch at Aunt Juanita's...the whole Bryan/Allen Clan came over to our house for a serious work party!!! Can you believe it! We're so blessed with such wonderful family who love us and support us in so many ways! Thank you everyone for all your help and sacrifice! We love and appreciate you SO much!

Pictures of the Play

So, obviously, since I was in the play - I couldn't exactly take pictures of the scenes; so zany backstage pictures is the best I got! The group shot is on our beautiful stage in our gorgeous building that was So nice to get to do such a quality show in! Glad it's over - but it was great! We raised a lot of money for our Sold Out internship to get to go to India this summer - being crazy for a good cause, I'm down with that.



Obviously, I had a ridiculously glamorous role - as usual! Such a diva, I know!

Our hotel was great - it had gorgeous ponds and waterfalls with white and black swans everywhere! we had breakfast out here in the morning, so nice!

Alrighty, some pictures of the outside progress! So since the last pictures, you saw it disced up, leveled, and smoothed over...now it's been trenched and prepped for sprinklers! Exciting! and what a HUGE undertaking! the world's best Father-in-Law has helped out with the big 'ol project and it's been such a blessing! the whole family's been great! and James built this deck and is currently working on the stairs and finishing the porch. (and when I say currently, I mean, like at midnight tonight, finishing the concrete - poor guy! such a hard worker, though!)
So, I'll keep you updated as I can! yes, we're still bunking at my mom's - what a blessing to have them close! don't know what we'd do without them!
